Super 8 Peru Starved Rock State Park
Ranked #5 of 10 Hotels in Peru

Excellent value, clean comfortable room, breakfast included. I'd stay here again, & you should too! Room was clean, in good repair. A very pleasant experience for only $59 per night. The breakfast was adequate as well, not just coffee and a bun. Sheets were clean also

Booked in advance and got the discount. Very nice motel, right by I-80, handy if you are on a road trip. Check-in was quick and easy, 5 minutes and done. nice room , very clean, no problems there. Good nights sleep. The only "fly in the ointment" was the crap wi-fi, it would have better to use smoke-signals. I tried a couple of different wi-fi adaptors on my laptop and give up, waled to the Mcdonalds down the street and used that. Many travellers like myself see wifi as a basic requirment and motels should get up to speed on that issue. very nice motel though, would stay again. Come on Super 8 get the wi-fi sorted out.Photos to follow later.

The worst hotel in the world. Smelly and bed bugs! The service you cannot understand what they are saying . And if you pay with good ole American Cash you will have a hard time getting your deposit back . Run!! I will never stay at another super 8 should have known three different hotels three strikes you are out.

My wife and I stayed one night here in late July 2012. It was super clean, comfortable and quiet. The room had a micro-fridge combo which we needed to keep some medication cold. The rooms are a bit small but certainly adequate. We had a room on the third floor and it was very quiet. Our room faced west. There is no elevator so if you can't climb stairs, make sure to let them know you need a room on the first floor. The breakfast was adequate but not spectacular; cereal, bagels, OJ, coffee, etc. This isn't a luxury hotel or anything but if you are simply looking for a clean and quiet place to sleep for a night or two, check it out.

Pleasant front staff, nice room, not fancy, but perfectly fine. Includes fridge and microwave. Seems quite clean. Would stay here again if I was just passing through.

I have stayed at the Peru Super 8 during the APBA boat races in July for the past 10 years. Before the current owners arrived the hotel was starting to become somewhat "worn". Since that time I can attest to the cleanliness, friendliness, honesty, integrity and professionalism that I have personally witnessed. I would not think of staying anywhere else during my annual visit.

This is a clean, straightforward Super 8. Helpful service. I would have no issues with it at all except that I am traveling for business and using a computer. The room has no desk. This is a fairly large inconvenience for business travelers, so if working during your stay is important I would chose one of the other hotels near here. There are many.
