I've dined at One World twice while in Peoria on business trips and was very surprised. It's near the Bradley University campus so expect a younger college crowd. The waiter the first time was a young man and the service was just okay, waiter the second time was a girl and she was much more friendly, but the food is outstanding and NOT your usual college fare. The hummus is a must-have and the appetizer serving is perfect for a light lunch or supper. I had the Cuban pork sandwich the first time, which was good. The gyro the second time with the tabouli was outstanding, just completely amazing, fresh, hot, the tabouli is marvelous and refreshing. The prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes are more than adequate. Definitely do yourself a favor and step outside the usual steakhouse, sports-bar scene and dine at One World.
