Visited the center during August 2013. It just shows, people are different. We decided to visit this attraction based on some very positive recommendations. What a disappointment. Having been to the Ford factory in Detroit we anticipated something similar. That was not to be. The best was the introductory video a la Disneyland style with vibrating chairs. The scene was set and we were quite excited about what we hoped would follow. The mock-up of the giant rock carrier was impressive but there the wow stopped and the rest of the exhibitions were very ordinary. The hands-on simulator produced a brief moment of excitement and then that was that. If you really like this type of machine, then go there. You will be able to sit in three of them,

We spent a couple hours here, but I was a little disappointed. If you didn't work around these kind of machines it might be more fun to climb on and look at them. I was hoping to see more of the really big stuff I don't get to see on a regular basis. I also thought most of the displays were too wordy with small print and hard to read, especially while trying to corral a couple kids. I don't know if it was worth the the money if you work around machinery in "real life".

Depending on how in depth u want to be, you can learn a whole lot about trucks & machinery. It's very hands on. It's amazing how different each truck cab is. The employees are very friendly, helpful & knowledgable. It was very interesting.

It was awesome! From the movie at the beginning, where the CEO talks to you, while you are "sitting" in the back of a 797, the simulation that you are moving across the land. Climbing in and out of several trucks and then trying to move dirt with a backhoe simulator. Looking forward to going back and spending more time.

The visitor center is very easy to get to and their is plenty of FREE parking in the area. If you like the big machines that this is the place for an hour or two and it is attached to the new downtown muesum-----with a large I-Max TYPE theater.
