We chose to have our wedding party and family stay at Spring Hill Suites for the amenities, particularly the shuttle back and forth to our reception. Service and rooms were great. However, my best man's car was burglarized and vandalized. When he approached the desk attendant to call the police regarding the matter, he was not met with any sympathy, no apology from a manager, no offer or gesture of compensation from the hotel at all. Not my idea of service considering we booked around thirty rooms at the hotel that night.

Arrived on a weekend and the place was swarming with teenage sports fanatics thundering around the hotel.
Breakfast was included in the tariff but wasnt worth the time or effort.
The only redeeming feature is the proximity to a selection of enjoyable restaurants.
Will not be staying there again

The Springhill Suites has spacious rooms with extremely comfortable and soundproof rooms. Very important when you need a good night's sleep before a big day. Even on busy Saturday mornings, when the place is sold out, there is ample breakfast for all and a staff that is there to take care any extra needs. The hotel shuttle provided a lift to the movies at a moments notice. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had an early flight out of PIA so I used Priceline to book a room. We got a good price, less than 1/2 the going rate. This hotel is very deceiving. The outside appears to be well kept and the lobby is nice. The desk clerks are neither friendly nor unfriendly. We asked about ordering in, they informed us that Ruby Tuesday provides room service for them.

We stayed in room 327. The suite was smallish for a suite. There was a small table with 4 chairs, a sink/micro/countertop area, a desk and a love seat. The lighting in this area was poor. No lights by the kitchen and table area. A waist high wall divides the living and sleeping area.

The sleeping are was average. Bed, nightstands and sink outside of the bathroom. The bed was comfy for a hotel bed. We were laying in bed and we noticed that there was a giant crack that ran along the ceiling. There was also a crack and falling plaster by the window. The heater had problems all night. It was loud and sounded like a freight train. When it would kick on, it would wake us up so we turned it off. But it still made that noise every 30 minutes or so. We decided not to notify the front desk because we were tired and our flight was leaving at 6 AM. It would have been a hassle to get dressed and change rooms.

The bathroom was small for the amount of space in the sleeping area. You had to straddle the toilet to open the door. The shower was also a little unclean. I had to rinse all the tub before I showered. There was some hair from the previous guest.

The room service provided by Ruby Tuesday's was terrible. There was a listing on the phone for room service so we dialed that number. We got a recording that they were busy and to leave a message. Ok, so we tried again a few minutes later. Same thing. We tried about 2 more times with the same result. We called the front desk and they informed us that the phones all have the wrong number on them. They gave us a new number that worked. The woman taking the order put my husband on hold for about 5 minutes and explained she was the only taking orders. Our order arrived in about 20 minutes. The delivery person attempted to charge it to our room, which we had told her not to do. When we sat down to eat, our order was wrong. We asked for extra ketchup and received NO ketchup. I got the wrong burger. And they gave us no napkins or plastic utensils.

Lovely, clean and roomy. Comfortable pillows. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Located right off I-74. Many restaurants and shops nearby. We ate dinner at a Mexican restaurant called Chevy's--a chain but excellent. Breakfast was nice--more than I usually expect at a hotel buffet, and the coffee was top notch. We paid full price for our rooms (2 rooms at $189 each) because it was a special events weekend (so no discounts), but felt that it was still a pretty good value.

Just to preface this . . . I have always like Amerisuites for some reason. It is good to know that they haven't changed that much since being acquired by Marriott. This hotel is no exception. Everything was in great working order, clean, and very nice. Price was about equivalent to the quality. Workout room and pool facilities were very nice. Breakfast was great. Large continental buffet. Coffee and juice selection excellent. Great hotel for basic business or need a quiet stop in the Peoria area. It is a very popular hotel for weddings (as they have a tie in with Weaver Ridge Country Club). On the Saturday night that we were there, the hotel was full - and I mean full - with wedding guests. Even in this respect, the hotel still was very quiet and we got a great night of sleep.
