“Polo Valdastono - Simply the Best”
Reviewed April 29, 2014

PV II is a real gem. The food and service is second to none. It is reassuring to know that your meal didn't come out of a boiling bag like it does in the restaurant chains. Your meal is cooked all by itself, to order, with the freshest ingredients. Chef Josh is always willing to prepare a special meal for me that is not on the menu, Polo Valdastono - it is superb. The owners are always there and they take great pride in their restaurant. If you haven't tried it, try it, I guarantee you will love it.

“PV II consistently has really good, freshly made, mostly Italian, food.”
Reviewed March 5, 2014

PV II is our go-to restaurant. They have delicious lunch dishes, along with an assortment of soups, salads, and sandwiches (sorry, no burgers). Dinner menu has even more wonderful dishes to pick from. Something for everyone.

“Great food!”
Reviewed December 31, 2013

We had to wait a little bit to be seated even though the place was not very busy. The staff was very helpful. The food was amazing, the duck pasta was exquisite and the ravioli were delicious as well.

“PV II IN PEORIA - CHOOSE WISELY”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

I was very disappointed in my soup selection at PV II in Peoria last night. Their food is usually outstanding, but the parmesan and egg soup was just awful. The broth was very thin, watery and tasteless, and the parmesan and egg dumplings were very dry and tasteless, as well. There was a lot of spinach floating in it. My husband chose the lasagna, which was had a lot of meat and was very good. His raspberry vinaigrette salad with cranberries and white chocolate were excellent. The bread is very good, crunchy on the outside and soft and warm in the middle. The service was excellent, as usual. We will go back, but will choose our entrees more wisely.

“Way UnderRated”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

Their pastas are one of the best in town. It is a small place, but has it's own character and charm. Quite frankly, their veggie pastas are a delight! Must try the orange sauce!!
