Description: Two25 is a polished casual restaurant located in the Mark Twain hotel of downtown Peoria. Our signature dinner entrees include a broiled New York Strip served with classic Gratin Dauphinois - a 30 layer potato gratin, a Dijon Crusted Salmon, and a rich Seafood Carbonara. Our dessert menu features choices such as delectable Chocolate Mousse topped with a Raspberry Chambord Sauce . Diners can complement their meals with our wine program - a large selection is available by the glass, flight, half bottle or bottle. Our reserve list by the bottle is sure to help you celebrate that special event. Our lunch selection includes great soups, sandwiches, and a pizza buffet with a fresh salad bar. If you wish host your next event in one of our private dining rooms please contact Seth Hanchett. We look forward to serving you.

We have had our eye on Two25 for some time since it replaced the pizza place that previously occupied the space. A look online showed a creative menu and positive reviews. There are two foundations I demand from any upscale restaurant, attentive service and quality food. Two25 met those requirements with room to spare. The service was excellent without a par in Peoria. Water glasses were not allowed to get lower than 1/2 full, empty plate were quickly removed and service was well coordinated between the waiter and assistant.

Food was uniformly good. The main course of seafood carbonara was a little more like an alfredo that the smoky tone expected in a carbonara, and the filet mignon was done exactly at a medium and was a dry aged prime grade steak.

We'll definately return!

As others have said, this is a very average restaurant, where the food is described better on the menu than it tastes. It is too expensive for the quality and flavor. The wait staff is prompt. They play awful muzak much too loud and there is zero ambiance, it is just dark. For the prices they charge it should appear nicer with tablecloth. The food is very bland and while the portions are large that is not a good thing.

I felt bad for the bartender who was almost hassled by consumers who wanted to use their drink tickets, but were so limited. Food way too expensive!

I expected better based on the reviews in Trip Advisor. My coworker and I were staying at the Mark Twain Hotel and so decided to dine here. We were shocked by the prices as they were similar to what you would find at a high-end restaurant in downtown Chicago. The menu options (other than pizza) begin at $20 and go up to around $40. Anyhow, we each went with chicken because it was the most reasonably priced options on the menu. Her's was a pasta dish and mine was chicken marsala served with potatoes, salad, and vegetables. The salad was small and overloaded with dressing. The chicken itself was very good and tasted fresh. The potatoes and vegetables were cool when served. The wine selection was very limited for those ordering by the glass. We opted not to have dessert, so I can't comment there.

My son is a senior at Bradley University. Every time we go visit we seem to go to the same restaurants. I told him to pick someplace new for his birthday dinner especially because his grandparents would be joining us. He chose Two25....and we were so glad he did!! It is located inside the Mark Twain Hotel. I would call the atmosphere, very cozy. The food was delicious!! The cook very accommodating. My son's girlfriend asked for something that was not on the menu and after our waiter talked to the chef, they prepared something just for her.

Some of the items we ordered and suggest....baked brie, mussels, lamb dijon, filet madeira, rib eye and porterhouse.

FYI...for you cigar smokers... they have a great cigar menu!!!

Go and enjoy!
