Best hotel room I've ever had for $109/nite. Great place if you like comfort. Stayed 2 nights. Top floor corner room 2 flat screen TV's (lots of movies & brought the Playstation 2 for kid - uses the AUX input on the side- RCA R/W/Y - very easy), balcony, huge tile bath with separate shower. In room wet-bar in awesome- like a kitchen. Fluffy robes. Free breakfast buffets each day (with waiters)in the restaurant. Nice bar. Swimming pool and hot tub. Parked right in front for free. Walk to Oakbrook Mall. Late check-out was nice, 3:00pm for $50 extra. Bellboy service was nice. We booked directly with Hilton.

We stayed at the Hilton Suites for 3 night in a reasonably priced suite that had 2 queen size beds and sofa bed. The beds were very comfortable as was the sofa bed, the bathroom was huge, the room was clean and the staff was very nice. We would definately stay there again.

I spent 4 nights a week for 5 months in this hotel. I stayed at the Renaissance - and this is much better!

Rooms - Good sheets, pillows & down comforter. Nice, big flat screen tv. The carpeting needs to be replaced, though.

Food - With the exception of the coffee in the gift shop (Starbucks) - not so good. The breakfast buffet is not bad, but I wouldn't order room service. The front desk has many take out/delivery menus - take advantage of those.

Service - Mostly very good. The staff, for the most part, went above and beyond. The shuttle service, however, has a few kinks. I was picked up late from the office several times - even when I called for updates, I was given misinformation.

Gym - The little one adjacent to the pool is small, but has 3 tradmills, an elliptical & a bike. The hotel has privileges at the gym in the office building next door. It's a lifesaver. Tons of cardio, weights, machines & a pool. This alone makes the stay at the Hilton worthwhile (especially compared to the awful, old, small gym at the Renaissance).

The staff really made this place. They went so far as to run out for chicken soup when I was sick. It's really the best place for a business traveler in Oakbrook.

This hotel is very nice. Huge, clean rooms with updated interiors. Cost about $110 a night with tax. My only issue was we decided to go downstairs to the restaurant to get some dessert in the evening (carry out) to save some $$ over room service fees. They charge you the service fee either way! they just don't tell you until you see the bill. So relax and call room service since the cost is the same.

Maaannnn.....where can you get a room of this quality for $100. (2) T.V.'s, (2) room's, sleeper sofa, work desk, (2) phone's. You gots to be kidding. This room in Grand Rapids, MI. will bust your head for $250.00 e-z. Nice layout, open elevator. Even the bathroom was tight. Seperate shower, glass enclosed of course. And this was a "basic" suite. All other brands...you need to send your CEO's here and see what $100.00 still buys you. (2) thumbs up Oakbrook.

We stayed at the Hilton Oakbrook Terrace for three nights in August 2005. The hotel is very nice, and our room was huge. We were on the 10th floor(the top floor) and had a corner room with windows in our room facing east and west. Because of being a corner room, the room was bigger than an average suite at the hotel and with lots of windows. Everything in our room was very nice and recently renovated, but i think they forgot about the carpeting. It wasn't to terribly bad, but there were some visible small stains on the carpet. However the whole room itself was very nice. we had 4 pillows on each of our two double beds with a very soft mattress indeed. Our bath was all tile floors with a nice big sink area and a seperate shower and bathtub. We also had a nice view of downtown Chicago from our small balcony on a clear day. there is a shuttle to take you to the trainstaion in Elmhust,Illinois, but be aware they only run during ceratin times, and make reservations with them first. They were 25 minutes late picking me up on s Saturday night from the train station. I wasn't too happy , for I was with both of my small children. The nice thing about it was Elmhurst in a very nice town and i felt completly safe.

Recently stayed at this hotel while visiting family and friends in the Chicago area. Paid for the room a couple of months in advance, so managed to get a pretty good rate. The suite was clean and larger than average, especially the bathroom. Traveling with kids, the extra TV, the refrigerator and microwave all came in quite handy. They loved the sleeper sofa. The bedroom was roomy and the queen-sized bed was comfortable. We even had a nice view of downtown Chicago (when the air was clear). For the money, this was a good value! Would definitely stay here again. Good job Hilton.
