“Take your winter coat”
Review of Drury Lane Theatre

Drury Lane Theatre
Reviewed August 8, 2014

Beautiful theatre, but take your winter coat. It is always freezing in there! I was recently there for a conference and there were three keynote speakers and then a few breakout sessions. I purposely went to another breakout session just to avoid the theatre.

Ivan Rutherford and staff were simply fantastic performance! Been to many shows, Chicago, NY, and other places and this show was truly very delighting. Had dinner after at Drury Lane and the food and service was impeccable too!! We highly recommend Drury Lane theatre for shows and dinners!

We have always had conistently good experiences with the shows at the Drury Lane. So much so that we purchased a subscription (season tickets). From Monty Python to Mel Brooks and Les Miz., you won't be disappointed. All great seats. Be sure to order your intermission drink prior to the start of the show!!!

We have seen some real good shows here. I laughed, cried, and cheered.
The prices are so reasonable, you can't believe it.
I currently have "season tickets" front row and I feel like a million bucks.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee currently playing at Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace is spot on! The cast is amazing. The play includes people from the audience and this cast can improvise the situation as it presents itself during the play. For the matinee performance today, one audience member kept spelling words correctly even though the cast expected him to miss the words. They played it to the hilt and had us in stitches! They even were able to add a reference to the World Cup which was being played at the same time. Now that is fresh, professional and well done!
Can you spell "triumph?" T - R - I -.........
