It's only 2 miles south of a WalMart, so I was able to get supplies for the week. I always rush in the morning, so instead of buying breakfast, I bought a toaster for $6.24 and my own bagel thins and peanut butter. A few soups and some soda and water, and I was comfortable for the week. Nice hot water in shower, clean room with blackout curtains and reliable alarm clock, microwave, fridge, and good, free wi-fi. The flat-screen TV was 42" I think. The lighting wasn't so good for my purposes, but the thermostat (on the wall) was responsive. All-in-all, an excellent place to stay for a week. The surrounding area boasts a large mall and easy access to expressways, but there was a lot of construction so travel times were affected. This hotel is across the parking lot from the Drury Lane Theatre if you're inclined (I wasn't this trip but could be another time) and is just up the street from McDonald's headquarters and their two-story McDonald's, also with free wi-fi.

We stayed on our way to and from vacation to be close to airport. Hotel very clean and cozy, loved the fireplace in lobby. Staff very friendly and helpful with transport to and from airport. Always stay at Hilton Family hotels, will visit this one again!

Disappoiinting. No major problems. Just a series of minor disappointing situations. I made the reservatioin through Hilton Honors 800#. It seems that their is a big disconnect between the reservation # and what is communicated to the local hotel. The only thing that was accurate was the price. I requested a room away from the elevator, king. Upon arrival they gave me 2 Queens directly, and I mean directly, next to the elevator??? The pillows were similar to sleeping with a 24" exercise ball under your head. I don't know that it is humanly possible to get a larger, or more round, pillow. The refrigerator in the room was warm and the cord was stretched out and wrapped around the front of the cabinet it was in so it could reach the plug, a light bulb was burned out, the carpeting is worn and a little nasty. I also didn't get a paper in the morning. Strange as some of the rooms had papers delivered but I didn't have one at my door?? At breakfast the staff just somewhat looks at you. I got my own coffee. I don't mind getting my own coffee but why have wait staff if they are going to watch you get your coffee.?? Again, all minor issues but all together it was not a great stay. Very unimpressive for an HGI. My recommendation would be to ask for a lower room number, 0 - 15 on whatever floor you end up on. The rooms on the North side of the building are right on top of the interstate and are fairly loud. The LG tv was nice. That's about the only thing I can say nice about this HGI. Oh, and I forgot - the remote control for the TV was sticky.??

The placement soap holder is located in an odd place at the middle of bath room wall.
I was injured on the left side of the head (between the left side of forehead and the ear) and suffered pain for a month. It would be advisable to locate the soap holder to another safe place.

Thanks

Very friendly staff. Housekeeping did a great job. Did not realize until too late (we were checking out) that you can change the softness/firmness of the beds.
