We rarely stay at bed and breakfasts because our schedule is so difficult. But we love staying in historic Oak Park when we come to Chicago. Being that there are limited hotel accommodations in Oak Park, we followed the amazing reviews to Bishops Hall. It sounded too good to be true. We can only say that there was no exaggeration. We stayed in the incredibly appointed Coral Room. More of a luxury suite, actually...sitting area with a fireplace, large bath with shower, steam and tub and a dressing room. Beautiful art and appointments. It was incredibly clean. The bed was very comfortable. Chuck is very attentive to your needs and is very accommodating with your breakfast needs. Breakfasts were wonderful, and the setting so beautiful and relaxing. From the moment you enter, you feel a sense of relaxation and care. Yes, we know, we didn't believe that when we read it in the reviews either...but there is something very special about this place and Chuck is a wonderful host.
