I recently spent a night at the Hyatt Lodge at McDonalds Campus for a business trip. Check-in was friendly, and the hotel was stylish and very comfortable. My room was large with a King Size bed, high quality linens, and a large bathroom. Everything was spotless.

The hotel also had a very nice fitness center with locker rooms, steam room, sauna, and a large indoor pool.

I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Oakbrook.

I was on a bus tour or Chicago and we stayed at this hotel. There were a group of us travelling together on this tour and we all liked this hotel - wish it had been closer to Chicago but that wasn't our decision. The rooms were big and clean and everyone slept well. We enjoyed the morning breakfasts and all found something we liked on the menu. The staff in the breakfast area were very nice and helpful. Make sure you look at all of the art on the walls of the hotel - we tried very hard to find the very few that didn't have something "McDonald's" related in the pictures...some of the pictures are beautiful, some are funny and some are just plain creepy.

We did find the hotel a bit isolated and you couldn't really walk anywhere from there but we weren't at the hotel for much more than sleeping anyway. I did like walking on their property in the early mornings - it was very peaceful and well maintained.

I recently spent almost a week at the Hyatt adjacent to Hamburger University in Oak Brook, Illinois. I was part of a group of golfers and the hotel was ideally located to access the six courses we played that were spread throughout the Chicago area. One, Butler National actually joins the Hyatt property. The hotel is only 20-30 minutes from O'Hare. The hotel grounds are well maintained and attractive. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are modern, clean and well tended. The hotel was perfect for our needs and I can't fault it. I would say that if you are planning to spend any time downtown, it is somewhat removed (45 minutes).

We stayed at the hotel for one night over the Labor Day weekend. We were there for a half marathon that my husband ran in. It started and finished in a large park across of the campus. I wish we would have stayed two nights. I would have loved to have biked around the area. The campus is very pretty and my husband and daughter had a nice 5 mile run around the property. There was a wedding going on. Such a pretty place to have one! Although there were so many people there, it never seemed loud or crowded.

The room itself was nice and the bathroom was very large and updated. We did have a long walk to the pool. It is part of a spa. It is a great area and had swimming lanes and a very nice hot tub. It also had plush lounge chairs. We enjoyed our time in there. The staff we talked to were very friendly.

If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay there again.

This property has always been a favorite of our family, much due to the huge swimming pool for our children. Now that they are grown and no longer travel with us, our needs have changed, but this hotel remains a favorite. It is a quiet refuge in the midst of a busy western suburban area, not far from the Oakbrook Mall and Drury lane Theater. Driving onto the property alone is calming. I still enjoy the pool and health club, complete with beautifully appointed lockerroom with steamroom and sauna.

My only complaint about our recent stay was the difficult with accessing and maintaining a wireless internet connection in our room. Connecting was difficult, at best, and intermittent. After spending 30 minutes online with tech people connected with the hotel, it was determined to me a server problem, so the charge was removed from our bill. However, it was disappointing not to be able to complete some needed work while there.

Room Tip: All rooms are quiet, but if you have difficult walking, request a room near the lobby area as the ho...
