On Mothers Day, i took mom to Pancetta for lunch rather than the usual Ruth's Chris which is located in the same building. This lovely restaurant and bar is housed in the Renaissance hotel and has been recently updated. The decor is so retro modern with white, silver, violet accents with a cool lucite 60s flair. We started with very tasty appetizers, rich soup and red wine. We then had a cracked crab salad for dinner which was fresh and light. We found the food to be reasonably priced. The perfect jazz music was piped in at just the right sound level. We were well attended to by John, the elegant and witty manager. Pancetta has live bands from time to time and they have a great thin pizza and other hors d'ouevres that really hit the spot after work or movie. We will return.
