food that is mostly fried or fat laden
a wine list with an extensive selection of uninteresting wines
a wine list that feels a bottle of wine should exceed $100 each to be worthy of interest
unprofessional service
loud, with uncomfortable seating
probably best for a burger and a beer
the flat breads were horrible

“Nice atmosphere and Local Option”
Reviewed October 29, 2013 via mobile

This is a nice option instead of going downtown. Nice atmosphere. The food is pretty good but could be better. Staff is attentive .

“Best restaurant in The Aurora area!”
Reviewed September 29, 2013 via mobile

This is our favorite restaurant in the aurora area. The chef is innovative with creative and unique dishes and cocktails. Beware the martinis are strong, and delicious! One of my favorite dishes is the calamari salad, great when dining al freco on a summer day. as fall comes, enjoy their fireplaces on the outdoor patio, ot the indoor fire pit when meeting friends for drinks.

The indoor decor is vintage horse racing with many menu items and menu layout inspired by this theme. On the opposite side of their colorful bar is an Off Track Betting area.

“Love this Place!”
Reviewed August 26, 2013

This restaurant never lets me down. The ingredients always seem to be fresh. The meals and staff are wonderful. The restaurant is a bit dark in the evening. The washroom doors look like stall doors with horses names on them. It is just a great place.

“Dinner and horseraces”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

This restaurant has great food. We ordered the cobb salad, shrimp linguini, and the "chez" chops meets the 3 little pigs. That last dish is truly a meat lover's delight. So much food, so little time. The bad part of the dinner was that we were sitting in a corner that was sooo dark that we could barely make out what we were eating .We mentioned it to the staff, but were told that that's the way it was. They could have brought us extra candles to make it even a little better. After dinner walked over to the horse racing room where you can place bets. We should have bet on having a better lit table.
