The Hotel Manager, Kathy Wingler, went out of her way to get us a downstairs room when the hotel was nearly full. We needed 2 double beds since there was 3 of us traveling together and since I have great difficulty with stairs, we needed a downstairs room. She called other guests who had requested two beds and asked them to switch to a single king bed so that we could be accomodated. She could have just as easily said "sorry, nothing available" as so many often do nowadays, but instead she went that extra mile to make her guests have a pleasant stay. This is a location I will stay at again, when I am in the Chicago area!

Great impression as soon as we walked in with no reservations. Michelle gave us three available room options and explained everything very well. She was able to answer any question and help us with everything we needed beyond our expectations. Our room was perfect for what we needed. It was spotless clean, very comfortable, and everything looked like it was brand new. The best part about the whole hotel is that it is pet friendly and does not have a fee for your pet!

I have stayed at this Red Roof Inn many times over the last 25 years. The staff has always been friendly. The new look is great! - beds are very comfortable. -decor appealing. - rugs around the bed and by sink is much better than the old standard motel carpet look(and smell). -The lamps over both sides of the bed is very accomodating. Only two negatives - the new boutique sink is mod, but sits too high for shorter people(like my wife). - also the coffee was just warm. We arrived late (no more talking through a plate of glass) and had to leave early. We wish that we could have enjoyed a longer stay.

Room Tip: Arrive early for better choice of rooms.
