I am no stranger to top quality restaurants and this is not one of them, although they charge top quality prices. The food was salty and that means not fresh. The filet mignon and chicken both tasted like low quality cuts. Bernaise sauce costing $3, which usually comes in a small gravy boat or cup, was spread thinly over the top of the meat. There was no bread underneath the steak to soak up the juices because there were no juices. The butter did not melt on the bread that was almost too hot to touch. I wonder what it actually was. And while another restaurant has the same practice of offering sides for $8 to $9 (Morton's) at most top quality restaurants there is almost always some kind of presentation on the plate. A few onion rings on top of the steak, sprigs of parsley, or a couple of slices of tomato. Here there was nothing - absolutely nothing. And then the service - the waitress removed the bread plates and knives before we had time to eat one slice of bread. And then the manager and waitress both cleared the table so fast they were crashing plates and glasses together. They asked if we wanted coffee, we said no, and then they said they would bring the dessert menu but by that time we had had enough. We made no complaints during the meal (and we should have!), we were pleasant and appropriately dressed so we don't understand the extremely rude treatment. We won't be back.
