My 6 yr old still loves to come here. The parking is convenient (and free!) and the exhibits are so easy to navigate. There's a small "water exhibit" that I would highly recommend that if your child plays there-bring a change of clothes! We've tried the smocks they provide, and we have brought a rain coat but the problem is that the water runs down the kids' arms and gets their pants wet! The bubble area is a blast-making the huge bubble around your body is great fun for all ages but overall this place is definitely for ages 7 and younger..older would likely be bored. There isn't really evening hours, except for one Thu every month so you would have to work around that..and now with the new Reciprocal membership changes, you can get a one-year membership for this museum, but only 1/2 off admission to any other childrens museums (it used to be free) But if 2 people come here about 5-6 times, the membership is paid for.

There is not much bang for the buck here for kids over the age of first grade. While this location is colorful and mostly well-maintained, it doesn't offer much challenging. The water table and wind tunnel were fun, but the electricity exhibit was broken. There was a nice art room, but we have paper and paste at home. The math center was totally pre-school driven. The music room was dominated by children banging away without any concern for making music. Many hipster parents on iphones seemed bored and ignored the children.

In short, this is a nice short visit for younger children. (Two hours would be enough.) For students ages 7 or 8, this is not sophisticated enough.

Took our almost 3 yr old there. Only a few exhibits kept his attention span. Was pretty busy. Almost felt kind of run down in places. We stayed about an hour and that was it. For the $$, we will not be taking him there again. he would have had more fun walking around downtown shopping I think

We had a great time. We took our 2 year old grandson and he enjoyed all of the activities. They have a very nice cafe with healthy food option. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it got very crowded and difficult to move around.

We had a groupon and took a 2-year old. He loved it! Especially the water station and construction room. Some of the areas seemed too old for him, but that's what makes it great! It's good for all ages! They also had a nice cafe, where went for a snack. I liked that there was hand sanitizer everywhere and baby wipes to clean toys in the toddler areas. It took about 2-hours before our little guy was completely wiped out. It made a great afternoon, especially in the winter.
