The wait staff were all very friendly & helpful. Good service, good food but really seemed overpriced. We would not return due to the cost of the meal. Not an abundance of food was given either. OK for business meetings/dinners if the company's picking up the tab.

This is the fine-dining room at the Arista Hotel in Naperville. Very current modern American menu. Interesting combinations, good service, nice atmosphere. Very enjoyable evening.

I went to Sugar Toad early on a Saturday evening. The restaurant is in the Arista hotel, directly beyond the bar. When I arrived, there was only one other table, and about six tables when I left. There was a wedding reception in the hotel and some of the guests were in the bar. Since the bar and restaurant are pretty open to each other, all of the noise from the bar spilled into the restaurant, which was a little distruptive.

Luckily, the food made up for the atmosphere. I can't remember the last American restaurant I have been to that started with an amuse bouche, so Sugar Toad's lamb sausage was the perfect bite to whet my appetite. I then had the corn soup, which had cured pork belly pieces on the bottom. The combination of the sweet corn and the salty pork was perfect. Never being able to pass up a good risotto, theirs was topped with braised oxtail. It was wonderfully creamy. There were two things I was a bit dissappointed in.. First, the lemon curd dessert, while tasted good, was a bit more runny than I would have liked it to be. Second, the dishes I ordered didn't lend themselves to the designs that I saw other dishes could be made into. Presenation is the intial way to enjoy a dish, and the kitchen knows how present their food. I will be back so that I can order something that allows them to stretch their talents.

This restaurant is located at the Arista hotel. I had both dinner and breakfast here and I have to say, although pricey, both meals were excellent. It was worth the money!
