“Great soft tofu soup. One of the best in US”
Reviewed August 30, 2013 via mobile

I have been to many soft tofu restaurants in the US including the best in NYC and LA. I know there is a following on west coast for BCD tofu restaurants but I think on a night in and night out, this place is the best.

There are several different spice levels to suit your taste and different versions from combo, kimchi, seafood, dumpling etc.

No frills ban chan including mung bean sprouts, Korean pickles, kimchi, and beans.

White rice is cooked to order individually in a stone pot which goes well with the soup which is still boiling when served.

Can't say to much for the ambience but you are not here for that anyway.

“If you enjoy Tofu in Korean Food, this is a place to try”
Reviewed September 19, 2012

The tofu here is very good. The soup is served in different level of spices. If you order the tofu dish, it comes with one pod of rice. The place looks clean and well maintained. definitely worth a try.

“Meat eaters do not pass this tofu place by”
Reviewed September 16, 2011

They do serve their tofu soup with meat options and they are delicious. Except the sausage version which I was told is just hotdogs.  The soup is served in levels of spiciness from mild white soup to blazing hot red spicy. Like Korean restaurants they serve kimchi and other little bowls of stuff to put in your soup, I usually just eat the stuff by itself.  It changes slightly from one visit to another but spicy cabbage kimchi, sweet potato wedges, funky fermented beans, and other things have always been in there on my visits. Your soup will come in a big bubbling hot bowl, so be careful of splatter on your pants, and a raw egg to crack into your soup (optional). Served with a rock bowl filled with white rice that gets all yummy crusty against the bowl.  I have never been able to finish a serving even though it is wonderful. My old coworkers would finish theirs but I think one serving would be enough for two people but I never tried it.  I love this place.
