We went here on a groupon, and the food was just ok. The bbq sauce is a little smoky for my liking, but that may be just me. We both had a burger and thought they were average, The service was good, atmosphere- typical sports bar.

Great atmosphere at prime times (otherwise, it's pretty quiet) with daily specials. The burgers and wraps are great! The wings are smoked--good quality, but not my taste. Sometimes when the bar is busy, the service is not that great--it just depends on luck.

Been there a few times and always had friendly service. The Blues Brother's theme is a bit cheesy but implemented without cutting corners so it doesn't feel cheap. Weekday nights, when there's no band, is when you won't be charged a cover and can find a table reliably. The brisket sandwiches are the best I've had outside of the South! Excellent bottle beer selection from around the US but not as cheap as some of the older bars around the suburbs. LOTS of TV's to watch with a mature, well-behaved crowd.

Visit Emerson's on the same night out if you want a fancier cocktail before/after watching sports.

I've seen some reviews about bad food. Clearly they haven't tried the Atlantic Salmon dinner. Absolutely delicious. Very reasonably priced. Caesar salad was fantastic also. Only downside we found was although they play blues on the speaker system. The live entertainment is not blues. It's rock. Good bands but not blues. They told us patrons didn't support blues bands so they changed to rock bands. Very lively atmosphere. When we return we may try a different entree but it will be hard not to order the salmon again. And now that we know there is no live blues we won't be disappointed to hear a good rock band. They also have alfresco dining in the summer.

Everyone in Mt. Prospect was excited when the place went up. They have a lot of live shows and events, and are a great venue to watch a big game, but the food leaves something to be desired. We have given it a few tries, and we're almost always disappointed with the food. Still a great place, friendly staff and hope they can get the kinks worked out!
