“R.I.P. Mama Rae's”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

Much to the chagrin of many truck drivers and most Mortonites, Mama Rae's closed a year or so ago. The lady that ran Mama Rae's is now running her restaurant from a Main Street Building (a historic district - no semis allowed). We only went there once for breakfast. There were only a few choices and no buffet - which was so popular at Mama Rae's. Staff that followed her from Mama Rae's were as cordial and friendly as they always were.

“Always leave stuffed!”
Reviewed March 9, 2014 via mobile

The name has changed to Savory House and their location has changed to Main Street but their quality and portions have remained great! Love the Olympian omelet, with gyro meat and feta cheese! Breakfast is served all day and the portions are big! All sandwiches come with soup and all soups are homemade! Love Friday's Reuben soup the best! If you leave hungry it's your own fault!

“Name has been changed to Savory Grille but still the same delicious food!”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

avory Grille has never disappointed! Breakfast served all day! Love their omelet with feta cheese and gyro meat with tzatziki sauce on the side! Go on Fridays and get their Reuben soup, it is just mouth-watering good! Lots of food for very little money! Very clean and super friendly staff!

“Great food. Try the Mama's Cakes. Family friendly.”
Reviewed October 21, 2012 via mobile

We have eaten here twice. It has a dinner feel and atmosphere and is casual dining. Wide selection of food ranging from breakfast all day to Greek dishes. I had the Greek salad with grilled chicken and really enjoyed it. My family loves her very healthy version of pancakes called Mama's Cakes. We'll go back just for those. Omelettes we have tried have been good too.

“Not the best choice”
Reviewed July 27, 2012

We needed breakfast so decided to try Mama Rae's. Big mistake! Rude waitress, poor service, and only average food quality. We should have gone to Cracker Barrel which is just around the corner. :(
