The experience started with a free shuttle ride from the Moline Airport. The hotel has this very kitch huntn' & fishin' decor in a very cheap feeling big box store kind of way. Not my cup of tea, but may be yours. The staff is very nice and helpful and my room was spotlessly clean. The room was fine, but the light level is a little low for work purposes. The free breakfast is just ok at best.

The location is oustanding for business in downtown Moline or Arsenal Island. There are several good places to eat within walking distance of the hotel.

Room Tip: Lower is better, th hotel elevator is very slow.

What a great place to stay. The hotel is just beautiful. Our room was huge. Breakfast was more than adequate and they had other rooms adjoining the breakfast room that you could eat in since it was a very busy morning. Can't wait to stay there again.

Room Tip: We were put in the handicapped room 101 so it was huge.

We were very fortunate that the front desk staff surprised us with an upgrade to a corner whirlpool suite with fireplace on our recent visit with our grandson. He was so thrilled to have his fold-out sofa bed facing the big screen TV, but after about 1 1/2 hours of playing in the pool he was too tired to try out the whirlpool tub in the room.

The room was nice, with northwoodsy style furnishings. We could see the Mississippi from our windows, but I think our room was one of the few with such a view. We were able to take a little walk down by the river, however. The breakfast was quite adequate and staff was attentive to keeping the tables tidy and food well-stocked.

Our only difficulty was that the nearby restaurants were mostly brew-pub type establishments. We ended up having dinner at TGIF, which was just plain awful.

To get to the parking lot of the hotel one must turn onto 18th Street, which is just two streets from the turn for the road that goes over the bridge to Arsenal Island. We ended up going over the bridge two times by mistake! I guess the guy at the guard house on the island must be used to people doing that, as he just showed us where to make a U-turn to get back to Moline.

The hotel is very convenient to the John Deere Pavilion and (whether you want to go there or not!) the Rock Island Arsenal and Mississippi River Visitor Center. We spent a lot of time at the visitor center viewing area watching the operation of the locks. The Lagomarcinos ice cream parlor is also nearby...you won't want to miss their delicious treats!

Room Tip: The main elevator is slow and there's only one elevator for four floors of guests, but if you ge...

This is a smaller property with a very nice casual and friendly atmosphere. The décor is lodge style and works well. The rooms are of a moderate size and well appointed. Bed was comfortable and there was no noticeable noise. It has a nice little bar and screened porch for good weather. Breakfast was included and was OK but pretty basic. Location is good for anything in downtown Moline and would be acceptable if you needed to cross to Iowa side for an event. Very nice comfortable property.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. A very nice hotel. The breakfast was good. The pool and exercise area was nice. Convent for walking to see John Deer Pavilion and walking along the river front of the Mississippi.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Stoney Creek Inn during a Grand National Antique Automobile Judging Meet. The staff were so good to work with. They were totally booked when we first called, as they were the host hotel. I called a few days before our event, they had a cancellation for one night, which we took, and when they had one for the second night, they called us. I was surprised and so pleased! The lobby and the whole inn are very nicely decorated. It has a very comfortable feeling. The room was very clean. We felt the breakfast was all what we needed. The location is very good, it is within walking distance of several restaurants, the John Deere Pavillion, the Isabell Bloom Studio, which is wonderful, and a little longer walk, but doable, the I-Wireless. It is a little set back from the main street, so maybe, easy to miss the first time you drive by. We felt the set back location just increased our pleasure. We did not feel like we were right next to a very busy street. We were completely satisfied with our stay and will stay here again.
