“John Deere Heaven”

John Deere World Headquarters

My husband is a big John Deere fan, having a different variety of their products - this was a very nice place to go! They let you go up in the cab of some of the tractors - a lot of information about how the business was started, along with the prototypes of things to come. It's free to go in which is always nice, and attached is the store of stores with anything John Deere that they sell! From apparel to toys to things for your kitchen and everything in between. The ladies working in the shop that day could not have been more nice or helpful. The only drawback is that they don't do tours on the weekend which is when we were there - but still was a great visit!

When in Moline you must stop by the John Deere World HQ. You can climb into the cabs of some massive tractors and combines. Fun to walk around and learn about the machinery. They have lots of John Deere historical memorabilia to look at. The outside grounds are amazingly beautiful.

They have various giant tractors that you can walk in. All of them are stored in a giant Art Deco show room.

This is close to my home and we take visitors here often. It is free to go. The grounds are beautiful and you are able to see and get up into some of the tractors and machinery that are on display. There is also an entire timeline wall filled interesting and unique antique pieces. You can spend as little or as much time as you want browsing.
