We visited there during especially hot weather, so dinner on the patio at night was very enjoyable.
Downside was that we were there with a large group with reservations, but they seemed to have only one waitress to serve all of us. I didn't mind having to walk inside to place my order, but still...

Good german grub, great selection of beers, good location, good service. Don't know why a soccer match wasn't playing on the tube...litlle league world series?

All of the burgers were burnt. Service was ok. Beer prices were super high as well. Waitress told us one price then when the bill came it was more!

Had the Jagerschnitzel with ppotato cakes & red cabbage - it was delicious. The restaurant has a good variety of German beer. Good atmosphere and a good time.

Come here for the beer, but eat somewhere else. The food is less than mundane. Ate at the Moline location. Beer was good, music was too loud, food was lousy, tables and floor were not clean and service was fair. Our first clue that this was a sub-standard German restaurant is that they misspell Wienerschnitzel on their menu as Weinerschnitzel. They charged too much for a fatty piece of pork which wasn't prepared or served as real German Wienerschnitzel (very disappointing). Also disappointed by the 'award winning' Currywurst - again a cheap, fatty sausage smothered in mediocre curry sauce. Both meals left us with a severe case of heartburn and the runs as reward for suffering through the meal.
