After snorkeling just off the front of the lodge, we found 2 of him on the sand flat that descends from the beach front. This was the first taste of the snorkeling that we would find around the island. Everythign that we saw was spectacular, so you really didn't have to go far to find something amazing.
The accommodation was cozy, and was made up of rooms that were adjoined to the main lounge/reception room. The bathroom facilities were certainly adventurous, being a room built on mangroves and over the water.
The food wasn't the best we had experienced in the Solomon Islands, but other guests who had stayed there previously said the food was very good. But the family was extremely welcoming and tried to make sure we were happy and comfortable.
