Description: Thai-D feature a blend of high quality, authentic Thai cuisine and warm hospitality in a sophisticated yet traditional setting. Our experienced chefs will prepare and cook every dish for you to order from finest ingredients including premium spices and herbs from Thailand. Our authentic cuisine is complemented by our list of beverages offering a great selection of wines, domestic beer and imported beer. Thai Cuisine is very unique. We focus on utilizing fresh herbs and spices such as Thai basil, lemongrass, fresh Thai chilies and lesser known spices like galangal, and kaffir lime leaves. Our chefs here at THAI-D focus on making food which is not only delicious, but nutritious as well. Instead of overloading the food with excess oil, MSG and sugar, the chefs use the fresh herbs and spices to get a truly fresh and exquisite taste that can only be found in authentic Thai cuisine. We are considerate of any special dietary needs our customers may have. Most dishes can be made vegan or vegetarian. There are also several gluten free dishes made from fresh rice noodles. Patrons can custom order each dish to suit their individual tastes and preferences. The chefs at THAI-D can accommodate anyone's special dietary needs or restrictions while still serving up the most flavorful food that person may have ever had.

I've been to Thai D a few times and always leave satisfied (it's worth the half hour drive to Marion). The Pad See Ewe is one of my favorite dishes.

“Some good, some not so much”
Reviewed October 3, 2013

I found Thai D in a strip mall near the town shopping mall. Reviews were glowing and the place was busy at 6, lots of folks having a good time. But for me the experience was mixed. The summer rolls were very bland and weren't fresh. The massaman came in a HUGE bowl. It must be intended to be shared. It was good but not among the best I've had in the past. The music was odd for a Thai restaurant - 50s oldies. Would I go back? Maybe. But I'd check out other places first. Though it seems Marion doesn't have many locally-owned restaurants.
