We have eaten at the Macomb Family Diner at least 4 times over the last couple of years. Every breakfast was served hot, well cooked, and tasted great. It is a typical "diner" type restaurant, not fancy, with plain wooden tables. We have had scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links/patties, hash browned potatoes, toast, and pancakes. The price is very affordable for the size of the portions. A couple things would help this restaurant stand out. First the coffee is very weak, especially for the morning. They could double the quantity of grounds used when brewing to equal the right strength. Secondly, if they served warm syrup instead of refrigerated syrup, the pancakes, french toast, or waffles wouldn't cool off so quickly. Lastly they only have pink and blue artificial sweetener, so if yellow is your preferred brand, you're out of luck. There is limited space to wait for a table, so go early, or be prepared to wait. There were people waiting for at least 3 tables when we left this morning at 9:30 am.
