Very nice hotel. Clean, nice staff, good breakfast hours - 6:00 am until 10:00 am instead of the usual places that stop at 9:00. Breakfast was good, but would like to see a little better quality of the choices - need more healthy choices and non-processed eggs, pastries, etc.

I think that this is the newest Hampton Inn that I have stayed in. The first thing that I noticed when entering the room was that the furniture was very modern. It did not look like the quintessential hotel furniture. The rooms were clean. They were well laid out and the beds were extremely comfortable. The staff members were all helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is very comfortable and service is outstanding. Always clean and never have any problems. The staff is always friendly and ready to do what is necessary to take care of our needs. The location with easy access to the rest of the town.

We returned to the area because of a death in the family. The Hampton Inn Macomb was full - earlier in the week with business travelers, and then later with sports teams, travelers, families there for weddings and other family events. There was . . well not no room in the inn but it was tight.

Our situation was fluid with family members coming and going at different times and room needs changing. The hotel staff did their best -- which was remarkably good -- to accommodate our needs at a very difficult time.

We were deeply appreciative.

Room Tip: I do not know if any room has a tub in this hotel. We've only had showers. If you prefer a tub, as we do, you should ask for one. Still in our situation with this visit we were merely grateful for a room.

The hotel was clean inside and out, and the room was comfortable. OK bed if you slept on the "unused" side and decent feather pillows. One of the few Hamptons I've stayed at where there was no mini fridge and microwave, which makes it undesirable for a longer stay. The Best Western next door does offer that, albeit at an older and more worn venue. Decent sized desk for getting a little work done, but an amazingly uncomfortable desk chair designed for looks rather than functionality. Although all the lamps have plug-ins for charging, two of the lamps had the plugs installed incorrectly, which rendered them unusable. Certainly the best hotel in town. Set back from the road, so no street noise.
