“Overrated”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2010

After hearing rave reviews of Wildberry from several friends, my husband and I tried it for Saturday brunch. We were quoted a wait time of 15-20 minutes, but it was well over 20. Seems there are always people milling around outside waiting to be seated on the weekends. When we were finally seated, it was right in front of the busboy counter, so we had a hard time hearing each other over the clanking dishes and silverware being emptied into bins.

The food itself was decent but nothing special. The wildberry crepes were good with tart and tasty berries -- not a huge portion. The tomato/basil/avocado omelet was standard, a bit heavy on the basil. Our server was pleasant but not overly accommodating.

Bottom line: For about the same price, you get more and better food at Egg Harbor Cafe about a mile down Milwaukee Ave. Skip Wildberry.

“Great Breakfast Place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 20, 2010

Our family has made this a regular place for breakfast. Why? Great service, properly prepared food, great coffee - Seattle's best, clean, comfortable and pleasant surroundings.
By properly prepared food - we always get the eggs the way they are requested, and even basic things such as hash browns are not overcooked. Service here is attentive, seems to be well-trained. Our experience is that even when this restaurant is busy, we have not had a long wait.
Try some of the pancake specials - our most recent visit - our son had a blueberry/ strawberry / vanilla cream pancake combination that was awesome!

When the weather is nice, outdoor seating on a patio is available.

“I expected decent pancakes”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2009

I ordered an omelet that I really enjoyed. The problem was that the whole wheat pancakes were very thin and kind of limp. Almost crape thin. I was surprised that a pancake house has such weak pancakes. Service was good, fruit instead of potatoes was very good. Coffee was good. My companion enjoyed his skillet.
