“Lincoln Family farm and cabin”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 6, 2012

When we came here we were under the assumption that Abraham Lincoln had lived here with his family, But in fact he never lived there it belonged to his Father and the log cabin that we saw was not the actual cabin it was a replica because the original cabin traveled to the world fair and it was lost... not sure how that happens. But we kind of felt like this was a sham, Although it was fun looking at the animals that they have there such as the sheep and pigs. Just know that this was not Abraham Lincolns home..

“Nice historic site”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 1, 2012 via mobile

This is a nice historic place that gives some interesting insight into what life was like in Coles county during the 19th century. Many of their exhibits are hands on and updated regullary. Worth a visit.
