“Tried 2 times, several years apart.”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

Food was bland, we were expecting spicy, based on the ads and menu. Many people we talk with, like the blander food, but we don't, we would prefer a lot more spice

“Great Service”
Reviewed January 16, 2013 via mobile

Very happy we chose to try this place. Nice atmosphere. They were attentive. And they had a really nice gluten free menu! We Had the salmon. It was fabulous! The only disappointment was the wine. The house Chardonnay was $7. The next one was $9.50. Not terrible except that they used very tiny glasses. That was the only yikes! Otherwise we liked it and would go back to try some of the other entrees. It started to get busy around 6:30. We visited on a Wednesday evening. The wait staff was extremely attentive.

WE like to go there when we want to "spice up" our eating. The ambiance, music, and food make for a lively night.

“You'd never guess you were in a strip mall!”
Reviewed June 8, 2012

This isn't a Mexican restaurant. Yes they have chips and salsa and margaritas and enchiladas but this place is way more than that. I have been coming here for many, many years. Their food is excellent and fresh. Here are a few of my favorite dishes: 1). Pollo Caribe - chicken breast in a mango cream sauce served with a couple rock shrimp. I didn't think I liked mango sauce but it is amazing! 2). Shrimp Cabo San Lucas - shrimp stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon served over pasta with tomatos and aspargus. OMG good! 3) A fish/seafood special - they have incredible fish/seafood specials on the weekends. Skatewing, basa, scallops, and whatever wonderful sauce they serve it with. Ask your server what they recommend 4). The steak calamari - it's an appetizer but if you think eating chewy fried squid is good (or maybe you don't) you have to give this a try. It's so tender and the sauce is so tasty 5). The banana chimichanga - a banana wrapped in pastry dough, fried, dipped in cinnamon and sugar and served with chocolate sauce and fresh strawberries and whipped cream. This is to die for. I have turned a bunch of my friends onto this dessert. We actually try to save room for it. Add in the owners Julio and Cindy who are lovely people and some incredible servers like Char and Denise and you have the makings of a fantastic night out! Don't drive past this place - stop in.
