First time trying the Lantern in Lake Forest. We had dinner at night, but I'd recommend getting there a couple hours early to take advantage of the quaint shopping village. Restaurant and Bar have a lot of Chicago sports team memorabilia and old-time trains running Good throughout. Good place for burgers and fries and variety of other American style cooking. Broasted Chicken dinner is a good buy for $12, but could have used some more seasoning. Side dish of apple bacon beans was very good. Tried wings with teriyaki sauce. Menu read oversized jumbo wings - they didn't live up to expectations. Flavor was fine, but wings were pretty small. Overall, good atmosphere and very reasonable priced American food. Great service!
