Visited many times. Triggers the art of reflection which helps clear the head. Ice cream van charges £4.50 for two ice creams. Toilets available at 30p a go! Car park free.

I actually love this attraction and feel we are very lucky to have it in the UK.

I am already a fan of Antony Gormley's work, so wanted to visit Another Place while I was in the area, I was just wonderful, so haunting and thought provoking, I loved it. the setting is beautiful on Crosby beach, worth a visit.

The beach around this art installation is fine. Of course, the Irish Sea is grey and cold whatever time of year. Lots of places to park your car or come by train on the Northern Line to Southport and alight at Waterloo Station,(15 mins from Liverpool) - the beach is not far away from there. Formby beach, a couple of miles away from 'Another Place' towards Southport is fantastic!

Thought I'd take a look at what many people have spoken about and found that the disappointment was unbearable.

It was a beautiful hot day with plenty of sunshine. Walking down to the beach the first thing that strikes you is the smell. A mix between raw sewage and something rotting badly. The beach itself was filthy filthy filthy. Such a let down after what people have said about the place, but I guess you have to witness things for yourself, don't you.

Had a quick walk on the beach, but between the dog mess, litter and scum laden sand, decided to call it a day and go elsewhere.

It was "Another Place"... One I'd never visit again..... Not unless they clean up their act, clean the filthy beach and sort the smell out... Not a place for children... Such a shame really because it could be quite nice if the authorities cared enough.
