Stunning views, log fires and a warm welcome at the hall. We were made to feel very comfortable and cared for in this historic hall, within easy reach of some stunning landmarks. The rooms are newly refurbished and have a lovely cosy feel.

Our two children joined us and they were able to play outside in lovely gardens and made to feel welcome. The Hall is well worth a visit and we would not hesitate to go back both for the food and the lovely atmosphere the owners create!

Room Tip: We looked out over the front of the hall, if you have a family there is a separate attached room for...

We visited Clennel Hall in May for a friends 40th Birthday party. We visited with a with child in tow, but all of us made to feel like it was home from home. Rocky and Roz ensured all our needs were catered for. Bedrooms very clean, spacious and fully stocked with all requirements. Food excellent and plenty of it! Will definately visit again in the near future.

From the moment we arrived at Clennell hall to the last good bye two days later we were so well looked after by Rocky,Roz and Chef Gordon. The room was fantastic with beautiful views of the grounds and surrounding countryside. The room its self like the rest of the house was spotlessly clean. The food was excellent, prepared by Gordon.Nothing was too much trouble and that applied to all the staff. On the desk of the reception is a sign saying "arrive as strangers and leave as friends" and nothing could be more appropriate. This is with out a doubt the best place we have stayed at in the UK and thanks to all of you for making our stay so perfect.

Just had a lovely weekend at Clennall Hall-not sure what to expect as we just picked it off internet.Beautiful location-hidden away-wonderful landscape.Bedroom was lovely and clean -although not the room we had booked(due to problem with plumbing)staff were very helpful,Rocky made us very welcome. Will definatly visit again.Pub in village down road has a lovely beer garden with great views, just far enough to walk to from hall if you are not a seasoned walker. Its really a dark spot at night so great if you like star gazing, only thing at this time of year you have to stay up late before it gets really dark.Lovely walks nearby. No phone signal for mobiles, but there is a pay phone in hotel and internet access is available

Just a couple of little points that we thought would of been nice, the room had no TV so a radio would have been nice-some people may be quite happy without either, also there was no hair dryer in room.
Apart from that would definatley recommend it if you like to stay in unusual hotels(not your normal chain of hotels)in fabulous surroundings, with lovely staff.

Room Tip: Room 5 was lovely, not a huge room, but lovely comfortable bed, bathroom was as big as bedroom. At back...

Booked last minute and what a find. Great value. Great food and and drink.

Rocky and staff are brilliant. Nothing was to much trouble. One night stay was not enough to fully appreciate the hotel

Can't wait to go back

Had a lovely time at clennall hall hotel at the beginning of May. The views were amazing, the hotel was clean and comfortable. Lots of food and drink available. The staff bent over backwards to make our visit lovely. The open fires were heating the hotel in the lobby and bar and gave an added extra. All in all a lovely relaxing weekend with friends and we will be visiting again.

Just come back from a fabulous stay at Clennell Hall. Our evening began with tea and Roz's home made scones. Literally, the best ever! Rocky and Roz were fantastic hosts and chef Gordon cooked us a superb dinner. Everyone must try his home-made naan bread. Hope to return very soon to this beautiful location and super-friendly country house hotel. Would recommend to anyone. Dave and Pauline
