We are here on Friday the 18th of jan. we were a party of five. Our table was sitting directly in front of the bar doors! First annoyance of the evening, everytime a server walked by I was either bumped or a had a food tray over my head, why even sit anyone this close to the doors.

The appetizers were average buffalo calamari, the asparagus wrapped prosciutto was goods and the bread was incredible :)

We all ordered steak except one of the girls who ordered ribs which was terrible and we has to send 2 of the fillets back 3 times and when we did receive one of them
That was ordered medium was served well done.

Needless to say if you want bread definitely go here if you want steak go to outback. You know what your going to get there

The desert was good as well the tiramisu was very good.

We are sea food lovers and saw some good options on the menu which drove us there.

Blue point oysters were tasteless. Grilled calamari was bland, lacked seasoning, bruschetta was ok.

Bread pudding was horrible.

There was a live band in the restaurant and it was too loud.

Service was good and staff was friendly.

Won't go there again.

We'd made a reservation the week before, but upon calling early that day just to confirm, learned it no longer existed. We were still able to get in, eating early at 6. We were surprised to be seated at the bar, in a booth with seats that were so old, I sank in the depression and would have had to raise my arms onto the table to eat. I'm 5'8. So we asked the waitress for another table, as there were 4 empty booths and several tables in the main dining area. She suggested we "sit on our coats" if we wanted higher seating. My friend and I almost walked out at her rudeness. Really, go back to the bar and sit on our coats? She reluctantly told us to go seat ourselves elsewhere (she was just standing there doing nothing) and we sat at the first empty booth, then immediately got up and went to another. It was right next to the door and the temp was in the 20's. Another hostess walked up and asked why we'd moved, and when we explained (again, 4 empty booths and several empty tables) she huffed and stormed away. As to the food, the steaks were very good and cooked to perfection. The Beef Wellington was wonderful. As another reviewer mentioned, most of the asparagus was woody and they'd left the stalks on, which couldn't be cut with a steak knife. Mentioning this to the waiter just resulted in a look of "so?" Never once did he attempt to refill my companions coffee. It's one thing to get good food, but another to have to endure rudeness, especially with these kind of prices. One would think a salad would be included, but alas no. As for the wine, it's served in a huge glass and occupies about 1/5 of the glass. Not worth the expense and we probably won't go again when there are too many other good restaurants around.

From the moment we walked in the door we felt like we had chosen the right place for an intimate, cozy dinner. The crab and brie bisque soup is a must order. The steak is cooked to perfection. The service is outstanding. Ask for Christian... He will definitely offer his expertise. And make sure to leave room for the homemade dessert. We will be back for sure.
