Great Wolf opened earlier than expected, so I decided to take my daughter and nieces and nephew.

Upon arrival staff met you at the entrance where they offered valet service. We decided to park. We got there a little bit before 1 p.m. when you can use the water park. Our room was actually ready earlier so we were able to unpack before the set check in time.

Front desk was a very speedy and friendly experience where you were given furry wolf ears for the kids. Right across from the registration desk is a view of the indoor waterpark and on the floor below is the arcade and other things to do. Everything is very centrally located so you don't need to walk very far to get to the activities.

The room appeared very clean but someone did manage to forget to check the fridge. We selected the family suite which included two queen beds and a full size pull out sofa. There were a total of two adults and four kids which didn't seem to be a problem with space. Beds were comfortable, Sink outside bathroom, sliding door to shower and toilet, and our room was in tower #2 very close to the main entrance. Some traffic but rooms seemed quiet next to the main hall.

Arcade: The arcade had some of the most recent games and the cost was very similar to Dave and Busters, staff was also very friendly. Nice size arcade and well spaced.

Waterpark: Everything was laid out nicely, there were several tube rides, slides, an outdoor pool (warm water 90 deg), wave pool somewhat smaller than others I have been to and the waves were a little tame but of the kids enjoyed it. They were doing training with the staff to make sure that they were paying attention.

Food: Pricing was a little high but not more than what you would expect to pay. They had everything from pizza, pasta, ice cream, hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, and tacos. They only problem was they do not know how to do tacos. They made the tortillas ahead of time which left them cold and they didn't do a good job of dicing the meat. Hopefully they will get this corrected. Tacos must be served right away and you put the meat on a warm tortilla.

If you have a cell phone you will be contacted to guest services person who will be available to answer questions and get you extra towels etc... Used it the first day and worked to perfection.

Kids Activities: Dance party at night, storytime, very disney like with the quality and service of the staff. Very friendly and accommodating. The kids had a blast the ages of our group was between 4 yrs and 9 yrs old.

Overall this was a very pleasant experience and we are planning to go back next month.

Room tip: Review the website there are many options, staff and customer service are willing to help
