Description: Situated in the heart of historic Grafton along the "Great Rivers Scenic Byway", we are truly a winery designed for all seasons. Sit back and relax while sipping your wine as you take in the view of the confluence of the Mississippi and Illinois rivers from one of our spacious patios or from our glass enclosed seating area. No matter what time of year, we provide the view, the ambiance, and of course the wine. Enjoy watching the eagles soar in the winter, the wildlife and surrounding vegetation coming to life in the spring, beautiful sunsets and pleasure boats on the river in the summer, and of course the famous changing of the leaf colors in the fall.

“Grafton Winery - Nice service, good food”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

We stopped into the Grafton Winery twice on our 3 day trip to Grafton. Once was to kill time and taste wine, the second time was for a light dinner. The location and atmosphere are great. The wines are nice to sample and the food is pretty good. Everything is fairly priced and the menu has quite a few items so everyone should be able to find something. It is definitely not fine dining, but serves a nice niche in Grafton. It has a nice large patio for the summer and has a huge eating area indoors for the winter. We didn't try many places in Grafton, but this one was just fine.

“Good place to grab a quick bite.”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

Stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon after watching eagles. The atmosphere was nice, but not special. There was a Mardi Gras celebration going on so we enjoyed watching everyone in costume. My wife and I enjoyed a burger and the white fish sandwich and a bowl of tomato florentine soup. All the food was good, not special, but good. I would comeback again.

We ordered blue cheeseburgers for take out twice as we were staying next door at Tara Point Inn. They were very good.

“Best in Spring, Summer, and Fall”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

This is the newest addition to Grafton. It must be 2 years old or so. The "winery" is up stairs and the Brewhaus is down. Calling it a winery is a streech. It sells wine and good food with outside seating in addition to inside. Live entertainment on weekends. It faces the river and is great outside except in winter. There aren't any true wineries in Grafton. I think 3 or so call themselves that and sell wine but don't look for the grape vines. Again, a really nice place. Wish they waited on tables. Their process is you go and order and pay at the counter. Then they give you a number sign for the table you select and deliver food. Quite like "The Loading Dock" down the street.

Thanks for visiting and taking the time to post a review. We are in fact the only "Winery" in Grafton that actually produces wine. Our production area is located on the lower level behind our Gift Shop. We also produce our own beer on-site as well in our Brewhaus, which is also located on the lower level. Hopefully you can visit all of us in Grafton again soon.

“Great place for lunch,”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

My husband and I were enjoying a beautiful day in Grafton, IL. when we came across this quaint, yet modern looking winery/restaurant. It was lunchtime so we decided to stop in and check it out. We were so glad we did! The wine and food was delicious and the atmosphere was laid back. We were going to sit outside on the expansive patio but is was a little chilly outside so we decided to eat indoors. There was no loud music so my husband and I could actually have a conversation while enjoying our delicious lunch. We had a very enjoyable experience and will definitely go back!
