Friendly and relaxing with a "homey" atmosphere.

Staff is attentive.

Outdoor seating offers a relaxing environment to chat with others or simply indulge your thoughts.

Great Geneva retreat!

A great place for gelato! I would choose this over ice cream any day, even their ice cream a few doors down. Friendly staff and a casual atmosphere. They even tried a specialty coffee drink I can only find in Madison. Pistachio gelato is primo!

The staff are friendly and quirky in a good way. You have to go here for the whole experience, this is the epitome of a local coffee shop. So order your coffee, gelato, chocolate or tea (skip the fondue unless your date is paying) and wander around while you wait for it to be made fresh. There is rotating art from local artists on the stairs leading up to additional seating (and washroom), flyers on the walls and business cards for community events, jobs, or even tutors to puruse rather than standing at the end of some counter looking awkward. Find a seat by the fireplace or at table on the enclosed porch (I love to seat here and watch all the folks passing on the street). Get an idea of the experience? Now GO and try the Chaicoffeski -my personal favorite drink- or a frozen hot chocolate because there is no way I can describe how good they taste!

Love the location of the coffee house with all the shops in the area in Geneva. Stopped in for mocha..3.99 for 12 oz cup. Nothing special and have had better but nice people and cozy atmosphere. Worth stopping there again for the atmosphere. Reminds me of some of the coffee houses out west.. free wifi as well.

My wife and I have gone here a few times and I really wanted to add 318 to Tripadvisor so you can go here too! Owned by the owners of Graham's Chocolates, literally two doors down, this little cafe is built into an old house. Wonderful, homey atmosphere and additional cozy and intimate seating upstairs in more private style rooms. There is also a kitchen upstairs where all pastries are baked in house. Best part, however, is the chocolate fondue! The chocolate is sourced from Graham's and numerous options are available for dipping, including pretzels, strawberries, oreo cookies, angelfood cake, homemade marshmallows, and even potato chips. The cafe also serves Metropolis coffee, the second highest rated coffee roaster in the state of IL, and also features an impressive tea menu. Geneva is a great town and I highly recommend 318.
