Fun place to go. Pleasant wait staff. Good food. Can be noisy due to high ceilings and sports on tv.

Thank Terry S

Sports bar, microbrewery, restaurant...call it what you want - we enjoyed it. Good food - diverse "bar-like" menu with good quality. The home-made bun on the pulled pork sandwich was a welcomed surprise - and the fries were really good too. My dining companions all enjoyed their meals as well. Bacon Popcory was a neat treat - pretty darn good! Beer selection was good and well executed. We would go back!

Our family has visited Iron Spike twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. The menu looks promising but the food didn't wow us either time. The beer was okay. Their website advertises a full menu, however the menu at the restaurant didn't offer entrees. The prices seem high to me given the quality of food. During lunch we were seated near the television with was had inappropriate shows on for children. Also our service was rather slow.

For lunch we order the Philly Cheese Steak and the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. The steak in the Cheese Steak was chewy and the sandwich had canned mushrooms (a big put off). The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich was super crispy but to the point it was almost burnt and it was really greasy. The french fries were cold, limp, and greasy. The beer cheese soup had good flavor but the texture was off, like paste, and had lumps of flour. Our son had the children's grilled cheese and fries; again both items were greasy.

During dinner we had the buffalo chicken salad, burgers, and the ruben. Again the fries were very greasy, as were the burgers. The lettuce in the salad was bitter and I was unable to eat more than a few bites.

I was disappointed with both dining experiences, but will likely give Iron Spike another chance since they recently opened. Hopefully time will improve their food and service.

Brand new to Galesburg. Had the amber beer- good. We had the Rueben sandwich and pulled pork. Generous portions. Service was very slow . It was not really too busy yet so do not know how the service would be an hour later when people were waiting for tables. This is the first of its kind in Galesburg. Nice addition. Decent Children's menu but they wanted mac and cheese. No booster seats yet so that will come next. Don't sit by the front doors as when they open you are cold. Hope they make it. Prices were rather high for Galesburg
