THis place is a gem. The menu is always changing, as the chef and owner is of the highest caliber. Whatever he's cooking special that evening, and there's always something special, EAT IT!!

We live in a suburb of Chicago and are used to fine dining. We eagerly look forward to our annual visit Perry Street. It could hold its own with the fine dining restaurants in the Chicago area.

One of our favorite places. Each time we come, must have at least one dinner here.
My cuz and I arrived on a Wed but they were closed. Understand that they usually serve Thurs thru Sunday dinners. So Thursday evening we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
She had the usual Seafood dinner that is their specialy. Shriimp, lobster and scallops in a very mild curry sauce (can be bumped up in heat as you like it) w/ wild rice.
I was tempted to try the other special for the evening which consisted of 3 meats. Lamb medalllions, veal medallions and a sausage. It did sound tempting but opted for the Duck Breast and Quail with Longenberry sauce. All meals are served with wild rice. D E L I C I O U S !!
The Chef is charming and will come to greet his diners. We also discovered that all the spices/herbs are 100% organic!
Had the chocolate bowl for dessert. Thank heaven we shared it. So deliciously rich with chocolate but we somehow managed to devour the entire globe!
Make sure to make reservations ahead of time.

We have eaten here before, and this time didn't disappoint. Unique atmosphere and extraordinary food and chef--especially for a small town like Galena.
