Located beside the “haunted Ryan mansion” ‘ decent hot breakfast; cookies and coffee available all day; pool can be busy; great housekeeping ; no elevator – plenty of stairs to 2nd floor; thin walls – can hear every car driving along rte 20 clearly ; choose a 1st or 2nd floor room facing the back or to be clearer “opposite of the road to minimize noises; gym equipment was older- the nordictrack treadmill sounded like someone was hitting a metal wall with a baseball bat; the TV did not have any input; the water dispenser I had to ask for the 4th time the following morning and the front desk people that morning finally brought a water container in for the dispenser ; I informed the night front desk people 3 times the first night and despite them saying they were going to take a look at the treadmill, the TV and replace the water container , NOTHING was done as it was still not fixed the following morning until I asked again. The day front desk clerk who helped was a young guy; the night desk people that did not fix my concerns about the fitness center was a middle aged Hispanic lady and a heavy set blond lady. Finally on the 3rd day we were there the TV had cable input. Comfortable beds, parking lot can be full but people should know there is another parking lot behind the hotel. I saw one inconsiderate pick up truck making its own parking spot on the front lot which would make it difficult for other patrons to back their cars out of their spot. Also saw other inconsiderate people who drive massive pick up trucks occupying 2 parking spaces. Those people should be instructed to park in the back of the hotel.

Room tip: any rooms facing away from route 20

This is a beautiful, relaxing hotel. Nice breakfast. The grounds are beautiful. Plenty of parking. The staff at the front desk, cleaning staff & kitchen staff are all very friendly . The price is right too!

Visited during the off-season and was upgraded to a very nice suite due to diamond status. Really enjoyable to sit by the Fireplace in the evening when it was snowing outside! Entire staff very friendly and helpful. Thanks for such a wonderful stay.

Very nice place but there is NO ELEVATOR! We had a group of about 10-12 people for a weekend Winter Get-A-Way. We had to switch rooms so we could have a room on the bottom floor. As senior citizens we cannot carry luggage up to the second floor. The facility was very clean and well kept. Breakfast on Saturday was very good with the usual waffles, cereals, juices, scrambled eggs and sausage. Sundays breakfast could have been better. The eggs were dry and bacon so thin there wasn't any taste to it.

Rooms were comfortable- spa was a little pricey for us so we skipped it - hotel was easy to find and not far from Main Street - desk staff was helpful hot tub wasn’t as ‘hot’ as we would have liked but still nice!
