A pre-Father's Day jaunt led us to venture about the frivolity of the eclectic Bay View area with questions of dinning suggestions? This was a wonderful & surprising decision by far! The building itself is on the National Registry for Historic places given it's earlier days as an Authentically Designed Schlitz Tavern/Bar! Nothing like the old world charm of a bygone era!
Our wonderful waitress Diana, was great in giving us input on customary practices for the Serbian Hot Tea before during & after dinner! The lamb & pickled vegetables was simply divine! We also tried the goulash & it was quite delicious too... Dessert was home made and well enjoyed wth coffee at the meals end! We were determined to have the opportunity to eat the dessert beverage but they were out of some of the very best ingredients which were definitely needed to prepare this popular treat!
We are planning on returning to try some items which require an Hour or so wait time & certainly look forward to the pear or plum brandy cocktails! Cozy quaint & charming!More
