“So fun, and something different”

West Street Sculpture Park

We stumbled on this while out geocaching, since there is a cache located in the park. To find the cache, we had to walk around the park and insert the requested numbers found on the signs into the GPS. So we walked thru the whole park, and I'm glad we did. There was so much to see, more than you'd ever guess when driving by. Though the downtown stuff was fun, this was a nice surprise and a welcome change of pace.

It wasn't quite what I had pictured from online, but we made a drive-by this interesting park on a cold-windy spring day, that is actually located within the artist's yard, and quite enjoyed seeing the sculptures. Had the weather been warmer, we would have enjoyed a quick walk around the park. It's not a park in a traditional setting, but the sculptures are really creative and fun to see.

It was a fun walk from the Farmer's Guest House B&B to the park. Interesting sculptures & use of old materials. It was nice to just take a walk, get some exercise & look over the sculptures.

This is a really great sculpture park. The sculptures are made from scrap metal and other "junk". But the artist is so creative that you forget where the material came from. He has a way of combining and arranging the material that is magical. The sculptures are spread thruout his hilly yard. My favorite was a giant tinkertoy. There is no admission fee, but there is a box to donate.
