Our stay at the Farmers' Guest House was wonderful! The location was perfect; everything was accessible and we walked everywhere and didn't move our car for two days. Our innkeepers, Jess and Kathie were absolutely wonderful hosts. They were so knowledgeable about the area, gave great recommendations on restuarants and things to do and see, and were so hospitable to everyone. The Guest House had a huge breakfast room that encouraged conversation with other travelers, a cookie jar that was always full, and was the gathering area in the evening for cheese and wine before heading out for dinner. Our room was cozy, clean, quiet and had a gas fireplace that felt so good on a brisk Fall evening. Kathie and Jess have decorated their Inn beautifully and added such fun Fall and Halloween decorations for the season we visited. I would heartily recommend the Farmers' Guest House and absolutely would stay there again on our next visit to Galena!

Stayed here three nights and did not want to go home. Pete and Eleanor's room is beautiful and the Annie Llyod cottage can be our second home. Property is beautiful. Kath and Jesse were amazing hosts. Would not stay anywhere else in Galena!

Stayed at the Farmers Guest House for a weekend in October. We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before and were a little hesitant. Kathy and Jess made us feel so welcome that we felt as if we were in a family members home for the weekend. They helped us book things to do, places to eat, made us a warm breakfast every morning and had wine and cheese time everynight. It was an awesome experience and we will definietely be back.
