First of all, stay away from Galena's main drag for food. Except for the Log Cabin (?) and Fried Green Tomatoes, that is.
But for good Mexican food, this is the spot.
The chips and salsa were good, the service was friendly, and the restaurant was festive.
I had the Choripollo - a grilled chicken breast covers with chorizo, mushrooms, and melted cheese. All fat free, I'm sure. Excellent meal.
The staff was great and kept our chips, salsa, and drinks coming constantly. Some of the best Mexican food I have had in this crap hole of a state called Illinois.
