“Very good”
Reviewed November 17, 2013 via mobile

Well worth going across the river! We were there on the weekend of Nov 8-10, due to a "tip" from a local business owner. Great advice!d Excellent French toast for breakfast No need to drown it in syrup. It's what you'd enjoy at home if you were back there, but since you aren't, it seems even better. The country Benedict was great. A bottomless cup of coffee. They do supper only on Friday and Saturday, and in order to make everything with fresh ingredients, they serve a limited number of guests. People show up, so reservations are a must! Excellent balsamic barbecued chicken with grilled veggies. John runs things very well and makes you right at home. We will visit there when we make more of our weekend getaways in Galena.

“Scrumptious food and a great little lounge”
Reviewed November 16, 2013

We have dined @ Otto's several times and have never been disappointed - they have unique appetizers and wonderful entrees. The lounge area is cozy and comfy. Well worth a trip to Galena - !!

“Breakfast was great!”
Reviewed November 15, 2013 via mobile

Stopped here on Sunday morning before leaving town after a weekend visit. Great coffee and the food tasted amazing. I'd love to try everything on the menu! Service was great. We appreciated the lounge area since there was a short wait for a table.

We'll be back for sure!

“Everything is perfect”
Reviewed November 14, 2013

I wish Galena was more convenient, I would go here ALL THE TIME. I will be re-routing my trips to visit this restaurant in the future, no doubt. The atmosphere is warm, clean, beautifully decorated and functional. The story and philosophy are charming. Everyone was friendly even the other customers seemed to be having a great day. We had the bruschetta, BLT, the roast beef & havarti sandwich, other sandwiches and lentil soup, and the quiche of the day. It was all absolutely delicious. Next time I will save room for dessert, or maybe take some home with me. An absolute gem of a cafe, I cannot recommend it highly enough.

“Wonderful Service Wonderful Food!!”
Reviewed November 14, 2013

This restaurant was a real treat. The service was fantastic and our server was so personal and sweet. The food was very good we went for breakfast as on Main Street there were not many good choices for breakfast. This restaurant is over the bridge behind the Desoto House Hotel...walk thru the park and take a right and you will walk right to it. It is worth the few minutes of walking. I had cinnamin french toast and bacon...was soooo good. Tony had Corn Beef hash(home made) and Eggs, he said it also was really good. This was a great choice...alot of locals seem to enjoy this restaurant.
