“You have to go!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2012

This was an unexpected delight!! I found this place because it was listed on my gluten free restaurant list and was so glad I did. It is a little off the beaten path but so worth the trip. Felt like family from the beginning to the end. Went there for breakfast twice because we couldn't get enough. The minute you walk through the door you just feel so relaxed. Looks like it's a favorite of all the locals so you know it must be good. Do yourself a favor and eat here!!!

“"Small & Charming, Serving a Great Breakfast!"”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2012

With Staying in town for a week, we heard so much about Otto's we wanted to try it for ourselves. Our Waitress met us at the door with a smile and Welcomed us in to our table. We tried a piece of Coffee Cake with our Sangria and Mimosa, both suggested by our Waitress. I had the Eggs Benedict with Home Made Sausage and Smothered in Gravy over Home made Biscuits. My Bride had a Broccoli, Bacon and Onion Omlette with American Fries and a Crossant. We throughly Enjoyed our meal in a Relaxed, Homey Atmosphere. I would highly suggest you leave the Busy Downtown area and Relax with A Meal Fit For A King!!!! Don't miss Otto's, Well Worth the journey across the bridge.

“Great Breakfast Place!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2012

The breakfast here is delicious. If you are in town then you will have a lot of restaurants to choose from but if your looking for breakfast, look no further. The service is typical of most breakfast places but the food is great! The atmosphere is also very nice.

“Wonderful restaurant just a short walk from town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2012

We were in town for a basketball tournament and we were looking for a nice place for dinner. A woman working at a gist shop in town suggested Otto's Pace. A short walk over the bridge, we found Otto's Place. It is located across the street for the old Galena train station. We arrived at 6:00pm on a Saturday and were a little leery when no one else was in the place. To our surprise it was a nice dinner. We had three of the appetizers, BLT Bruschetta, the veggie dip and the hummus plate. All three were very good. My wife and I both ordered the fish special. It was a white fish with pineapple salsa and rice. The girls also enjoyed their dinners as well. I wanted to try some of their food, but it disappeared before I could try it. It was very good. The atmosphere was excellent. A great place for a quite dinner or with a group. We had a group of six and we all enjoyed it.

“Lots of Restaurants in Galena but this one should be a Must Go!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2012

Excellent food and a nice setting. All the locals go on and on about this restaurant. We really thought it worth it. We had the ham and cheese sandwich on a pretzel roll and the chicken salad sandwich. Both were delicious!! Their breakfast menu looks outstanding. The restaurant has a neat history to it and the name has a special meaning. Kind of cool!!
