Fascinating! The staff spent a lot of time explaining the windmill operations in detail! The finished products, a variety of stoneground flours will be traveling home with us.

“Dutch history”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Good look at a Dutch windmill. Interesting story about how it was built in Holland, disassembled and brought to this Mississippi river town and reassembled. Nice gift shop with pleasant, knowledgeable staff.

“Great working windmill”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

This windmill was shipped from Holland and assembled in Fulton. It is completely authentic and, periodically, it is used to grind grain. It is worth a walk through. The museum/gift shop across the street has amazing windmill models, souvenirs, and food including flour and homemade mustard.

“Nice culture for a small community”
Reviewed August 29, 2012

This authentic windmill was a welcome addition to our community. A large group of the population in our area are decendents from the area this windmill was brought from. It is kept up and has a nice informative tour. You can also buy flour ground in the mill.

“A nice, informative tour”
Reviewed August 28, 2012

I've been in windmills before, but this one has interior parts that are labeled and it's kept quite clean. The man giving the talk upstairs was informative and seemed to really enjoy the topic, so that makes for a good learning experience.
