I 've been to a number of Japanese steakhouse' s, and my family and love them. Shoguns on the other hand fell short of our expectations. It think it is one that has suffered from being a chain. The food just isn't as good and Your somewhat hurried. As for the food , three words, too much sake. I like sake but the flavor is drowned in it. This was the same on to accusations with to different cooks. I give them a three because it is possible to still have some fun with family or friends watching the cook fix your meal.

Visited on valentines day. Very busy and a bit of a wait but well worth it! Great service. Excellent food. Will return when we come back to town!

We received our appetizers, soup and salad all at the very same time....I have never liked that....need to eat each on their own and digest before the next course. Meal was just "so-so"...nothing spectacular and the cook was not as experienced in this type of hibachi cooking as we have experienced before.

we were there on a weekend. Wish the buffett was going! The food is awesome. And way more then we. could eat.... The sushi is expensive and ok. But that may be due to personal taste. See you in November!

Sorry to say but sushi isn't good enough to justify a 30% increase in price. We used to be regulars in the sushi part of the restaurant not the hibachi. No more. They used to have a special of 30% off for all the sushi specials. Now it's only ones on a card and the prices on the card were also jacked up so no great deal there either. It's their right to increase the prices by 30% but its my right not to visit nearly as often. Sushi is just ok, nothing special so we'll now be trying many other sushi places in the area as this is no longer a favorite.
