Had a great time seeing the New Year in at Corton. Absolutely everything was geared to making the break as enjoyable as it could be. Tasty, nicely presented food and lots of it. The 5 course gala dinner was excellent. The entertainment team were all first class and so hard working and the visiting entertainment also good. Chalets have had a face lift since we were here a year ago so they are improved.

We found the staff and other guests to be pleasant and friendly. We thought Warner's had gone the extra mile to make a really great break!!!!!!!

Had a very pleasant weekend break this last weekend at Corton. Myself along with a small party had been to Corton previously in November so we knew what to expect - no frills accommodation, enthusiastic entertainment and honest food and drink.
Having said that we were all pleasantly surprised. The in-house entertainment crew worked staggeringly hard to keep us all entertained. The guys and girls really put some energy into it and are really talented. The Friday night guitar/banjo/ukulele guy, Ian Larkin?, was absolutely brilliant. The resident band were great especially the gorgeous singer and Jazz was brilliant at taking the requests until well beyond midnight.
The Abba tribute band on Saturday were awesome and the Sunday evening Boogie Night show was a toe tapping, arm waving epic with the crew giving their all once again. The food was plentiful with loads of variety and our waitress Jess was an absolute star, a lovely young lady with just the right balance of cheek and charm.
I appreciate that Corton isn't exactly the French Riviera but the staff really go the extra mile and more to make you feel welcome. Really really enjoyed it and will be back again sometime.

It was like being on holiday with an extended family. All the staff and other holiday makers were all so friendly and helpful. The recently refurbished site was excellent throughout the grounds and accommodation. The evening shows were very professorial and we were lucky enough to be able to laugh at and with the entertainment staffs pantomime. Daily activities were also available to be enjoyed. The food was very well prepared and presented, the choices meant that everybody could find something to their liking. Will be going back in 2014.

Room Tip: All the chalets are good value but for something different, although added cost, try the cliff top...

Returned yesterday from a 4 day Christmas break at Corton Coastal Village in Lowestoft. Well what can we say other than it was certainly a magical Christmas. We really, really did have one of the best Christmas’ ever. Cannot praise the entertainment team enough, they truly worked so hard and kept everyone happy and laughing. They gave us shows as professional at the west end performances, they gave us quizzes that had us in fits of laughter and got the old brain matter working, they organized games to work off some of the delicious food we ate, they gave us a “Dick Whittington” panto that made us boo and hiss like 5 year olds, taught us to dance and sing and through the whole of this busy time for them they never stopped laughing and chatting to everyone to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was excellent and so much of it there will be a lot of new year diets after staying here. The waiters and waitresses worked really hard and catered for the fussy eaters without complaint. The ladies on reception sorted out any problems that occurred and answered any questions. All in all a great 4 days and we have already booked for next year before we came home. Highly recommend a stay at this village you will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: All rooms are clean, warm and comfortable just get the best you can afford.

Having holidayed in the past at Warner Hotels, this 'village' experience was very different! We booked one of the new Hilltop Lodges and could not fault anything about the Lodge in any way save that of having to don coats and wet weather footware to go to anything else in the complex and for me who has a bit of a problem with mobility, it was quite a walk. The cloakroom in the main building is small, unattended and right by the outside door so you rely on the honesty of other guests and the absence of uninvited 'visitors' if you leave your coat there. Most took coats to their tables. In the summer this would be a lovely place to spend some down time especially in the Hilltop Lodges which are self contained, built this year and with Adirondack chair adorned decks over looking the sea. Even in December the view was stunning. The facilities are limited and the swimming pool a bit of a joke, with tiny changing rooms, just 6 lockers and steps into the pool so steep that they cannot possibly be compliant. The attendant was wearing a coat, as the temperature in the pool room was so cold, so we were not able to stay in the water for long. They are having another major renovation in January, we are told, so hopefully things can only get better for next year. The food was less varied than at the other hotels we have stayed at but they really did make an effort for my Gluten free diet. We will go again - just for the Hilltop Lodge and for the situation so close to both Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth.

Room Tip: Go for a Hilltop Lodge for sure - the higher the number (Deben 1-18 are the numbers) the further fro...

Stayed in standard chalet, which was clean and comfortable, tea and coffee replaced daily. We had very good service in the restaurant and couldn't fault the staff. I didn't feel that the drinks were overpriced as stated in some reviews, overall a very enjoyable stay and we will return
