We chose this property specifically because their website mentioned they had a canoe available (it was my husband's birthday & he loves canoeing). Our room was very clean, and we had a lovely view. The bathroom was spotless and I enjoyed the neat shower.
However, when I asked about the canoe, Miguel told me it cost $15/hour, which is high. We go to Milford House every year and we get a 24 hour canoe rental for $30. That would still have been OK, but we needed to portage/lug the craft all the way to the small lake behind the property. I said I'd have a look to see if we could possibly manage it. Miguel didn't point out where the trail was; when I found it, it was overgrown with wild raspberry canes & impassable. It was very disappointing, and I think misleading.
We enjoyed having a basket of teas available (some plain black tea would have been nice) and the WiFi was great. Breakfast was not great, not what you expect in a Bed and Breakfast. The sheets were nylon. Not nice.
I see Blueberry Bay Seaside Inn as more like a nice hostel than a nice B&B.
